Why Isn’t My Garage Remote Working?

The first and most obvious reason would be that your battery in your garage door remote is possibly dead.

A great way to check this is to see if the small indicator light comes on when you press the button on your remote. If your remote does not have an indicator light then try your other remote if you have one or try the wall button to see if that opens the garage door. If they work then you know the battery is probably dead.

If nothing opens the garage door then next check to see if the lock is engaged on the wall button or console. Not all wall buttons/consoles have the lock feature but alot of times it gets engaged and not released later.

Lastly, there may possibly be something wrong with the logic board in the operator. At that point you may need to call for help from a professional.
